Anyone have a good starting point as far as set up for single mikuni jets,needle,needle height etc. I believe carb is 36mm it took the larger rubber manifold flange of the two choices i was given at rabers. Bike is a 71 750 commando. Plugs are powdery black at idle and at full throttle shut off testing. Will idle ok before riding but becomes unreliable and eratic at stoplights and will die. Does starts back up ok. When cruising at low speed bike does that chugy jumpy thing. Anyone know what i'm talking about? Is there a gasket between rubber flange and manifold? I know this is a can of worms. Thanks mike
