For those who watched the Lunmad YouTube channel, I was happy to be notified today that a new video was posted. Unfortunately, it is an announcement of his passing. His channel is the first I ever subscribed to on YouTube. Even though I'm older and have had Triumphs longer than him, I always learned something from his videos.

I've watch many hours of his videos working on the Triumph. Found his Amal carb work and cable making very helpful. Sad to hear this news today.

This is very sad news. He was an excellent bloke. His Youtube videos must have helped many hundreds of Triumph OIF owners over the years.

Oh dear, sobering. Just saw it. A man in the vein of our former listmate hobot. A real old time, limited money, limited tooling, tiny shed sort who none the less got to the basics. It shows how long the internet has been around now and how old we are all getting.
Godspeed Loon-mahd....ah that upcountry accent!

I was thinking of him again today. My wife died in 2012 after a long struggle with cancer. I started planning a trip to visit him in 2013 - I helped him with his website and wanted to take him up on his plan to rent motorcycles and go riding with him. Unfortunately, that was put to the side to have my hip replaced. Then each time I thought about visiting him and then going to Scotland to visit my cousin, some other medical mishap occurred.

It's best no not put things off - our time is limited!
