Yesterday I sold my Triumph T100 project. I had taken it as far as I wanted, ridden it, enjoyed it and decided it was time to move it on. The guy that bought it is a painter and his work is stunning. We discussed paint and finish and all I can say is the bike is in very good hands. I am not a cosmetic guy but it's nice that the bike is going to someone that is.

He came for the Triumph but lost his mind over my Norton. He wanted to know if it were for sale. I told him that everything is for sale at the right time and the right price but I was not willing to part with it just yet. After he left I took the Norton for a ride and reflected on how much I really like it. The mirrors work, the bike idles consistently, the power delivery is nice, the ride position is good and it is the perfect bike for what I use a motorcycle for these days. No, I would not go touring on the Norton even though I probably could. I am just not doing distance riding these days.

No, the Norton is a keeper. The garage is less crowded and having just the one bike feels right. (I do have a tiny bit of regret in letting the Triumph go but that will pass.)

I have four and I need to have one or maybe two. It ain't easy to choose or go through the sale process.

I have had as many as 5 ( heady days 😁 ) … like poster now down to just the GT1000 … sign of age , have made my big dream ride across Canada solo back in ‘17 on the ST3s …. age & condition keeps me a bit closer to home … that’s cool as long as the Duc continues to perform , more time now to keep it in tune & clean , Wife would like more attention paid to garden/yard haha! I do keep her Jeep clean 😉

Still have three on the road - Commando, ES2 and GB 500.
One in large lumps needing restoration, Wideline Dommie 99.
Sold the ST 1300 about a year ago. Was not riding it much and
no regrets. Want to keep what I have but maintenance is becoming less appealing and don’t want to spend the $$ on restoration of the 99.
