Does anyone know of a supplier of liquid filled electric oil pressure gauge about 1 1/2 inch in diameter?

Usually liquid filled gauges are used to dampen the bourdon tube assembly (expanding copper tube connected to a rack and pinion ) this medium is normally glycerin . I do not see why you would require it in a electronic gauge maybe this is why ?

No accounting for tastes in details but as stated electric PSI don't need oil fill needle stabilized nor do mechanic PSI as oil pressure don't vary fast like carb vacuum pulses or alternator amps. May have to stoop to Hog brand or go kart or garden tractor puller engine sites or ultra light aircraft.

I assumed that oil pressure gauges were offered as liquid filled for motorcycle operation due to the inherent vibration. Maybe I'm wrong.

The trouble with a large number of these gauges is they don't have any illumination so if you are out in the dark then you will have to rely on street lighting or pass lights of other traffic to see them. You can put money on the fact that when you will need that warning about oil pressure it will be to dark to see the gauge. I have period 2 inch Smiths gauge with built in light that matches the style of my clocks and a chrome pod to fit it in to go with polished alloy clock holders. All off Ebay for much less than some of the ready done but none eliminating kits out there.
Now all i have to do is fit it over winter.

Oil gauges on Nortons are like tits on a wild bor, just sometime else to protect in a fight but not very functional. Point being the gauge is for show and if was showing ok in daylight it'll still show ok in the dark and les glare from road vision. Still lighted electric wired sendor w/o oil tube feed would be pretty cool dimly lit to entertain day and night. Best wishes finding a 1.5" version of this and ping back when ya do.
