My (head)lamp hangers (or brackets or whatever they are called) are not
quite up to snuff cosmetically. Anybody spring for a set of stainless
ones? I know RGM lists as well, I think, as Les.
Im figuring that they may well be off shore made and Im worried
somewhat about the quality-appearance. Perhaps somewhere Ive
read that even the genuine (new made) are not as good as the
originals.
Comments?

I bought a pair of standard ones from Norvil and I'm happy with the finish. I sent some old ones away for chroming, but I wasn't happy with the result.

I bought a pair of Andover hangers. The plating doesn't appear to be as thick as the originals but maybe that has something to do with current environmental regulations

Pretty much what I had heard, anybody for the stainless RGM or otherwise?

I just replaced one of mine with a new one from Old Britts, and I can't see any difference between that and the original.

i got a set of head light ears in billet alloy form CNW that does not require taking forks apart to attach and rather lighter than the chrome ones.

Pretty much looking to stay stock in appearance. Hoped
that somebody out there had hands on , or eyes on,
experience with the SS ones.
Thanks though.

I'm about a year late on this topic, but I bought a set of stainless lamp hangers. Not impressed, thin material, spot welds, not especially attractive. Something in billet or a heavy chrome plate would be more attractive. Just sayin'
