I have acquired a Kenny Dreer fork kit for my '74 850 Commando. The kit )no longer available from Dreer) utilizes Showa damping internals from a Honda F3 (as I understand it) modified to install in the stock Norton forks. The damping and pre-load are externally adjustable, as on the Honda.

I am getting ready to install them on my Commando, which has a Hyde fork brace with the slider extensions.

Can anyone comment on this kit?

Were you happy with the new fork action?

What is the recommended type and amout of oil (no instructions came with the kit and I have had no luck in getting a response from Kenny Dreer)?

Thanks much.

Any chances you take some pictures of it and some measurements? It could be possible, maybe, to duplicate this kit, as Norton America is not selling it anymore.
