Keanu's favourite smell.

Brilliant!

What a cool guy.

Also at 7.00 minutes, ‘one song to listen to for the rest of your life’ he answered Joy Division, Love will tear us apart.

Dudes even cooler than I thought he was before !!

Lost all respect for him when he stated the Norton commando has the famous featherbed frame!!!!
And when he lost his commando in an airport car park

Watched Matrix 4 last night, some nice cues back to the first film (you can forget M2 and 3 and still know what's going on), slow in parts but overall a good film.

He's not the only American to say that about the frame, so I wondered if maybe they were marketed as the Featherbed in the U.S. ?

I don’t recall them ever being marketed here as featherbed but they did play up the isolastic bit .

I think it was the iso's making the ride without the vibrations so different and the connection 1/2 made to the featherbed it being a different frame got missed. After riding normal bikes in the 80's my first Commando ride was so different it was like nothing else, the wind noise became most obvious whereas before engine vibrations had been.

I did at first, then gave him a pass. Apparently his Norton knowledge starts and stops with Commandos.
Besides, how can you possibly dislike someone who says on National TV his favortite smell is his Norton Commando warming up!!!!

I give him points for knowing that Norton and featherbed frame go together. I also commend him for extending interest in the brand as thousands of viewers keyed "NORTON" into Google just to see what he was talking about.

Imagine you were in an undiscovered until that moment 100000 square mile desert and you took a poop behind the only tree right in the centre and within hours there was a pic of it on the internet and an internet forum set up to discuss it.

You couldn't pay me enough money twice to live that dudes public life.
How he seems to stay humble, charitable and grounded for decades is beyond me when many others have departed or star has faded.

It said he has had that Commando since the 1980's.

I saw the first Matrix video, none since.

Just have to agree to disagree
I can't see how anyone can own a Norton commando for that length of time and not know what frame it had

Agreed. He even makes fun of himself for crashing his Norton.

"Bone white is WHITE!"

And he has to kick start the Norton in front of cops, onlookers, and the paparazzi.
