Yes, kit can be installed with just the SA removed as per the kit instructions. My concern was if the machined down spindle ends for bearing race fitment would still be strong enough.Thanks. There is no machining required but I wonder if someone has installed it on an assembled bike
Dennis,On my bike it is the two inside seals that are leaking, but it seems to take the motion of riding to make them leak.
I figure that if I open all that up, I will only do it once and never again!

Someone had mentioned they saw a post on this mod. It may have been mine. I posted it years ago.
First off I did the Keigler clamp mod to the swingarms cradle and as i was doing that
I came up with this mod to make it easier to oil.
I took the center bolt out which locates the swingarms shaft.
I found a socket head bolt, drilled the center out and JB welded in a barbed brass nipple.
I then put clear plastic tubing to reach up to the top of the oil tank.
I then took out the nipple on the end cap for venting and with a hypodermic needle, without the needle, I filled the tube with 170w...
Replace the existing sintered bearings with bearings machined from lube impregnated polymer bush known as Ertalyte TX manufactured by Dotmar. There is a Norton owner in Australia that makes and sells these on xbay Australia. It is the last leak I need to deal with!
Thanks
