i know everyone here was a HUGE fan of the bike, but does anyone happen to know the p/n or original application of the tokico caliper Federal Moto put on their Norton?

i'd also accept nissin or other jap p/ns or applications - something with a bolt pattern amenable to an adapter plate. the brembo p4 30/34 is nice, but it looks like i can get a jap caliper for 100 or less with little noticeable performance reduction (er - compared to a brembo, that is).

thanks in advance!

I see you asked this over a year ago, but any way,
Honda VTR 1000 caliper 4pot, adapter bracket needed
Kawasaki gpz/x rotor, redrilled and an adapter carrier turned up

thanks for the encouragement, everyone.

and splatt, thanks for the recommendations. found a caliper for MUCH less than i was looking at for a brembo p4. looking at discs, though, found this:

http://www.rgmnorton.co.uk/buy/12-float ... b_3841.htm

does anyone know if that's a standard disc bolt pattern? or am i locked into RGM for future replacements?

same deal with madass's adapterless disc hub (if he will even sell just the disc) - is it a common pattern?

if i can get away with only making one adapter (caliper), it'd be nice.

Yes, the RGM disc carrier that you show does fit onto stock wheel stud pattern. However you are still 'stuck' with RGM for replacement discs.
