I was rebuilding my laundry one day and remover the twin concrete wash tubs, made a herb garden out of them but under the tubs was 2 bottles of home brew beer that I made 30+ years ago when I had the brewy going lol, the caps had rust on them I use to mark the tops so I knew what they were, well I decided to put them in the beer fridge where they stayed for some weeks wasn't sure about them but one day my mate came up and I said well lets see what happens when I crack one open, to our surprise when I cracked the top off it went psss and the beer started to bubble up like they use to when they were fresh, so got my beer glass out and started to pour it into the glass, a nice head and lots of bobbles it looked like it was made 3 weeks before.
I always added an extra 1/2 kg of sugar when brewing, then the taste test, I use to brew Coppers Draught and this beer was so nice and hadn't gone off in the 30+ years its been sitting under the tub, in fact it went down so well we cracked open the second bottle, it was one of my malt beers and same thing a lovely head and bubbled its guts out.
After drinking them 2 large bottles I wanted more they were so niceeeee, made me want to start brewing again but when I was doing it all thoughts years ago I put on so much weight and was turning into a piss head, so stopped brewing, but I still like a beer or 2 on a hot day and today its very hot and humid.
Just proves natural brewed beer don't go off.
