Stumbled across this one in my files, thought I lost it, glad I found it again.
Two of my heroes.

Heroes

Listening now to a collection on minidisc.
Funny, seeing the big O on his Norton, the meaning of his song titles get a different perspective which maybe some of you may or may not have experienced with your beloved Norton, be it on the road, be it in the workshop:
-feeling good: Go go go, You got it, The only one, Careless heart, A love so beautifull
-feeling blue: Pretty one, Only the lonely, Running scared, Crying, It's over
-feeling hope or despair: Trying to get to you, In dreams, She's a mystery to me

Wait a minute. How does the Big O ride a M/C?

Sorry, I just assumed he was totally blind. My mistake.

Roy Orbison is in my list of top 10 musicians of all time, near the top.

...maybe that's why I appreciate Chris Issak...

Eastwoood, was definitely a hero. One of my favorites, I found that pic some time ago in a book I have since lost. Luckily I still have a scan of it at home.

I've been looking for that Eastwood poster for about a year now. No luck.

Look to be during the filming of "Kelly's Heroes" 1970.
I wonder if the bike was in that movie?

I doubt it, since the setting was WWII, but I guess that wouldn't have to stop them, since the film was full of all kinds of other anachronistic 60's nods.

I think it was disguised as a bottle of Scotch. I could be wrong......................

I don't think the bike was in the movie. It was most likely a promo shot for Norton and the movie at the same time. Plus the printing is left out of the original pic. It's certainly a good pic of a nice original 69/70 'S' type.

I got the pic from the web, stole it from one of our Norton members on his web page. The biggest I have is 800x778 at 72 pixels/inch. Don't know how big it will print without getting funky. I could get in touch with the guy that posted it originally and see what he has. It may too be a scanned pic.

I'll see what I can find.

Now if someone could come up with the pictures of the Roy Orbison shannanna girls, we could do some trading.
