I'm back home and of course, no diagnosis.

The neurologist says I might have had a mini-stroke but he doesn't think so. The surgeon who installed my pacemaker says it is working right and the monitor showed nothing wrong while my vision was a mess and I was bouncing off the walls trying to get to the bathroom. The attending physician should not be allowed to put MD behind his name - idiot!

It's damned fortunate that I was driving or riding when it happened!
 
Best wishes for a full recovery, Greg. I myself had a heart attack at home in Hong Kong three weeks ago so we are kindred spirits of a sort, The ambulance took 8 minutes to arrive and treat my symptoms. I was in a hospital bed in 45 minutes, all for US$15 - damned Commies! I'm walking every day now and increasing the distance every time. You've had enough health issues to know that slow and steady is the route to recovery. Good luck to you.
 
Too bad our eyes dont have those lense alignment screws like our cars did back in the 70s. Would be a simple fix.

I understand his position fully, can't blame him either.
It sucks that a guy like Greg, along with his knowledge, insight and offerings chooses to step away from this site because his thread gets sidetracked by those who would use it as an "under the radar" political vehicle rather than leaving the politics out of it.
He was simply sharing his insight as a businessman and how said tariffs affected him.
 
I shared email with Greg yesterday, and yes it was that he had enough. And he misses it, too.

Frankly, I got turned off here during/after covid as well due to some rancor, and that is largely why I havent been around much either.

I am only on one forum regularly these days, which is an audio forum (I like Altecs and tube amps, loudly) and they only have two rules: 1) don't be a dick; 2) no politics or religion.

People and up flocking there from other audio foru ms.
