Do you need some humor for the Nurses? It's an old one.
A cranky old fart was in the hospital and giving every nurse a hard time. He had one nurse leave the room in tears.
The head nurse, seeing this went into his room and told him that she needed to take his temperature. He grumbled about her just wanting to run up his bill. She insisted that it was needed. He opened his mouth. She said "No, it has to be most accurate. And pulls out a rectal thermometer. He balked. She was still insistent. He dropped his legs over the side of the bed, then his drawers. She inserted and walked out of the room, leaving the door wide open. People walking by would look and smirk.
The doctor walked into the room. Stopped and said what is going on here. Grumpy barked back "Haven't you ever seen someone getting their temperature taken before?"
Doc replied "No, not with a carnation, I haven't!
