Hi All.

I´m replacing the original rocker feed hoses with Goodridge ss. I´ve finally managed to finde the 90 degree twin banjo´s. Problem is, these Shortneck banjo´s are thicker, with 2 washers they´re about 15mm and the banjo bolts that I have are only 20mm. Goodridge also sayes to use longer bolts (25mm), but they don´t have them in the correct 5/16"BSF.
I´ve seen others here on the forum also using these twin banjo´s, what bolts do you use and where do you get them?

Stainless bolts would be great and if anyone know where I can get them in Europe, it would be even better.

Regards, Dan.

Hello Dan
I made my stainless ones to replace the rusty originals. How long do you want them? as I will do you some. What is the difference in thickness between the original and the goodridge fittings?
regards
Peter

Hi dantriumph.
To complete the stainless steel look with seals that work I suggest using 5/16" Dowty washers (stainless washers 14.22 OD x 1.22 H with viton seal 8.64 ID).

No, Rockypoint & Oldbritts only have banjo bolts for the typical banjos & the "double" as in stacked kind. The Goodridge "Y" type uses a longer banjo bolt that they no longer sell & after trying everywhere I gave up and decided to make one. I got 5/16x26 BSW bolts from Britishfasteners.com but still haven't done it. They will not have a shoulder for the banjo to rest on but I'm told that's no big deal. dobba99 if your willing to send me one I would gladly pay for it + shipping of coarse. I will send you a PM. Or, buy an RGM oil pressure gauge banjo and cut to the required length?

5/16 - 22 BSF.

Hi .
Peter, thanks for your generous offer. I´ll PM you.
Here´s a Photo of the banjo´s that I was planning to use.

I´ll make a drawing next week. My parents are here for a long weekend, so not much spare time.

I´ve seen the RGM one, but it dosen´t have the shoulder for the 3/8 hole in the banjo´s.
The steinless Dowty washers would indeed look good, thanks.

Dan
