I've allways disliked the "stacked" banjos used with the steel braided oil lines so I searched out a "double banjo" for them witch is a Y type like the stock lines had. Trouble is it's a bit thicker so it requires a slightly longer banjo bolt, if memorie serves me some one (L.A.B.)? Said they are 5/16 x 22 TPI. I looked it up on the Stainlessbits website but it's one of the few he has no thread size listed for. I will go ask my hose guy later but I assume this is not a standard thread found in the U.S. but obviously someone makes the ones sold with the kits so does anyone know of a place that might sell them?? Thanks. Glenn

Make your own ? Obtain stainless bolt (longer) then hold down for drill press boring out center then sideways drill for small oil hole just under bolt-head .

It's 5/16 BSF: http://www.britishfasteners.com/threads/bsf.html

Thanks L.A.B. I think I'll order a bolt and drill it out. Post pictures of it when I'm done. The double banjo comes from Goodrich and I like it better than the stacked banjos with the double bolt, just looks cleaner and seem safer to me. I've seen them used on a couple of Norton race bikes. Maybe from New York Norton.

Sir Eddie sent me the bit longer SS banjo bolts to fit dual port oil banjos so start calling various Brit Iron vendors for an off the shelf bolt or mill a bit off the banjo. Btw Al washers seem to seal better than the copper sort so might ask about them too. Btw oil pressure gauge can be tapped through one of the head steady bolts if drilled through.
