gortnipper posted THIS a few years back. It concerned adapting Triumph Thruxton paniers to a Norton Commando.
I did some searching and found a GOOD PRICE on the same bags at Triumph Cleveland. The price included shipping although that was for domestic USA delivery.
I called them to make sure these were the same bags as referenced in the post above and the nice lady texted my a schematic of what was included in the set.
Indeed they seem to be the exact set that gortnipper set up in the post above. This was the best price I encountered in my search.
I ordered a set and will combine them with the seat trunk I already purchased.
This combination should allow me to carry plenty of gear for road trips.
As usual this site is a plethora of valuable information. Many thanks to those that shared there experiences so that a relative (touring) rookie can make informed decisions.
