Neither bike is "restored", and lthough the price tag is fair, shipping to the continent would be a bit spendy.

I bet a 500 is a perfect island bike.

For that money couldn't you buy a real bike, like another Norton?
 
Have one of those awful unit 500's and have hated it ever since I put it together. It's a high strung, buzzy, little thing that is irritating to ride after a few miles. Every time I get home I curse myself for ever getting it.
 
what year is your 500 ? they dont go to bad with 650 pistons and twin 30 mm Carbs , and maybe close gears ,
Sounds like the Balance factor is out , or mounting bolts need dialing in .Good city solo machine or Dirt Road
