Was it double coated and stoved enameled do you think?Interesting, yes, that is really tough
Very possibly. It was really on there! Was it double coated and stoved enameled do you think?
Or two pack black enamel.Very possibly. It was really on there!
Thanks Richard!Looking good Steven - nice progress !
Appreciate the advice, I have a long way to go before I worry about turns, but I’ll remember this when I do.Just a comment for your consideration.
Those mainstands are brilliant. Very easy to get the bike on the stand with the long lever.
One issue however. They drag really badly. Like really really badly.
So be careful when you go round your first left turn.
I cut the lever off mine with an angle grinder. Hard to get on the mainstand but at least I can turn left without the whole back end lifting several inches in the air.
Good advice, thanksPut the horn leads (sub harness ) on now and test at the bench through the leads - tough to get them on after horn is in place .
A lot of parts gathering, researching, priming and painting. Productive weekend except maybe the trouble I got in putting painted parts in the toaster oven. But they came out great!
Not the swing arm of course. Need to get up a little more nerve before I go all out oven.
Always looking for good advice, thanks!I suggest you do a trial fitting of the centre stand and check for wear before assembling all the bits at the frame. Don't ask me how I know ....
