Don't know if this has all ready been posted but I recently bought some herringbone oil hose from Feked UK, ok it's not as good as the original stuff but for the price it's fine, and fits the various oil manifolds perfectly

What will matter is whether or not the inside of the tubing holds up. I have used some of the fabric covered black fuel hose on several of my bikes and it ends up leaving fine black particles in the fuel.

Description states nitrile rubber and 100% ethanol proof. Both 3/8" and 1/4" ID available. Still a lot more spendy than standard pipes, but at least it is being made again somewhere, and out of modern materials.

It doesn’t mention conforming to a standard, but maybe the embossed surface affects that.
