fastback seat

I mentioned before part of my winter project is preparing a fastback setup for my '72 roadster. I had an order with RK Leighton in England to ship a new seat to one of our club member's house in England to avoid the 92 pounds shipping cost ($180). Unfortunately Leightons informed me the seat pans were delayed and they won't be able to ship in time.

Anyone out there have a seat base or old fastback seat they want to sell? The foam and cover are much less expensive to ship.

Regretfully I don't have the seat, however I wish to order a different seat directly from Leighton. Can you explain the significance of "...to ship a new seat to one of our club member's house in England to avoid the 92 pounds shipping cost ($180). "?
