G'day guys.
Just wanted to know if anyone has had any problem with electronic ignitions before? My 750 will fire on the first kick and the spark will stay on for almost 2 strokes of the piston, every kick after that will have no spark until I switch the ignition off and on again and the same thing will happen. I've heard that the only thing that usually faults is the black box, has anyone else ever had or heard of this happening?

I've never had a problem.

Bypass the ignition switch with a hot wire directly from the battery to the black box and see what happens. If bike starts repeatedly the switch is bad. If that doesn't change things, my $.02 the black box is bad. But very rarely ..... :?

cheers!

Tim

And the earth path from the engine to the frame and from the frame back to the battery is just as important as the feed to the box.

So I guess you didn't try using the search before asking!

But what type of "electronic ignition" is it?
