e-start clunking?

Still chasing an electrical gremlin - randomly blowing the main fuse. Made too many changes at the same time I guess.

E-start is flawless. Life changing for an old man. All buttoned up...

Do you know where your header pipes came from ?
Looks like they come out the head a bit straighter to the front (if you understand me) than most, like original 750 fastback type.
I've been looking for a set like this for years.

I'm not sure what year, but yes they are genuine Norton probably pre-72. The right side pipe tucks in close to the frame rail compared to what you can get today. I had them rechromed ($$$) and they're already turning color, in less than 100 miles.
 
Looking at the video of the start there is a whirring sound that continues after the engine fires for some seconds until the throttle is blipped, you need to check the starter is disengaging promptly.

That’s the transfer gear spinning (gear between starter gear and crank gear) Not the starter being engaged. There is an adjustment for this and I will talk to ‘maylar’ about this tomorrow
