Yeah you would probably get away with it but in the back of your mind you'd be worried about it (every time you hit the redline)OK, I've put on my flameproof suit gloves and goggles in preparation for the responses, so here I go..
If the broken edge was carefully filed or ground to a nice straight edge and then given a smooth 45° chamfer why couldn't it be used (for road use) ? the break goes no higher than the conrod relief so where is the issue? Maybe a little bit of piston rock ?
