Beach, how are you?
Correct, there are 2 sides of the story that no one really takes into account.
Lets go over this because the customer in reference here just told you exactly what he told me.
#1 - this is the listing in which the customer purchased the unit from:
https://www.classicbritishspares.co...box-drive-15-12-bg5330-168-60-0637-a75-rocket
"It was listed under their Norton parts list tab.It says right on the listing in the Norton section that it fits a Norton."
The customer purchased something in the "Norton list" because the title said "Norton".
As per our email, he did not read or review the listing because the title simply stated "Norton" (purchasing with neglect and to read)
So with that being said, if you purchase something that says "Norton" and it does not fit... perhaps you should read the entire listing as there are Commando's, Atlas, etc. We have a LONG description for customers to read and know what they are purchasing.
But somehow he wants to smear my company because he purchased the wrong part and he is not happy about it?
I told him to send it back for a refund then I sent him the correct link under the part number he gave me AFTER he bought the wrong one.
Still not happy....
To those who criticize my company and location... ridiculous, you hear one story and run away with it.
Here is the email altercation:
Customer:
Hi,
I ordered a speedo drive From the 'Norton' link on your web page but it is not for a 'Norton'.
order # 13498
Do you carry one for a Norton?
CBS:
Hello,
What part number speedo drive do you need? Did you read the entire listing? Thank you
Customer:
060627 is the Norton part number.
I ordered the one listed under your Norton parts list section.
CBS:
Hello,
Well, you have to read the entire listing then to assume because of the section. In that case, everything under the Norton section (including 195's parts) would fit a Commando? Not quite..
Here is the listing. Cheers:

Customer:
Ok,
I'll send it back and get one somewhere else less confusing.
CBS:
Hello,
No worries! Cheers
Customer:
Right, no worries, other than costing me time, money and disappointment.
I'll be sure to pass my experience on to the Norton owners forums.
As a parts seller I spend countless hours building my site, inventory, listing, photos, links, etc.
All we ask is for our customers to take the time to read our listings in full.
Sometimes we do make mistakes, but purchasing an item simply because the title says "Norton" is not something we stand by.
