*5/18/2026* I just heard from Matt at CNW. The latest batch of E-start kits are almost complete. There's 35 kits in this batch. Just needs 2 more parts to finish. I was the first in line for this latest run so I'll let you know when mine kit ships.

Might be hard to accept now but it will be well worth the wait .

I ordered and paid last year but I don’t get a reply from emails or phone messages. Can one of you ask Matt to get in touch please.

Is this something you'll install yourselves?

Was wondering how difficult it would be.

If you are a reasonable mechanic, and able to follow instructions, you’ll be fine doing it yourself.

The kit is extremely well made, and comprehensive, and clearly designed by someone who actually fits them.

The instructions are very good and easy to follow.

When you do get the kit, look through it a few times to familiarise yourself with how everything goes together, and read the instructions a few times.

There are also some great YouTube videos, and threads on here, about fitting them.

Then clear the deck, make sure you have everything that’s needed, and it’ll go together nicely.

Even if you are like me, new to both bikes and spannering/wrenching it is indeed very straightforward forward. Of course my bike came with it fitted but to undergo other repairs I’ve had it all off twice recently. The only part I didn’t do was to determine the number of spacer washers on the centre stud to correctly align the inner primary case. I think Matt may have redesigned that part to be adjustable now anyway.

The best video I found was on ‘the mighty garage’ channel, a series in 4 parts.
