Chain Oiler

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the best method is of blocking off the Chain oiler? I have one fitted to my MK2A Interstate 1975 and am a little unsure of which outlet it is from the oil tank.

Hi Neil,The oiler outlet is a pipe stub about 1 1/2" to 2" down the side of the oil tank on the inner side,i.e. towards the chain side of the bike,I blocked mine off using a cap I found in a plumbing store and soldered on,I suppose you could use just about anything,there is not much pressure at this point.Good luck,ride safely. A .22 cal cartridge case fits snuggly over the pipe and takes solder well. Just make sure its a spent case.
