Best Movies Ever

Honestly, I only started watching it because I couldn't find anything else that night to stream, it was free, and Anthony Hopkins was in it - I couldn't imagine it being bad with him in it. I don't usually watch low-budget historical movies because they are usually bad. It was clearly low budget but was well made and many of the great movies were low budget (e.g., all the spaghetti westerns)

Classic feel good flick. Seen it a few times now. Probably wasn't as low budget as you'd think, likely about average for the time.

What would have been nice would be to find a list of every movie and choose from it. I used the put down every movie you remember off the top of your head. My first 5 or 6 are the movies I've watched more than once - generally see no point in that.

Some that should have been on my list:
Easy Rider
The Divergent trilogy
Big one: "The world's fastest Indian". If you haven't seen it, stop what you're doing and watch it now - the first few minutes are slow but it's well worth watching!
...and I now know how to "look after" citrus trees!

" "The world's fastest Indian" "

Bit put out about that .!

Was a book on our Mr Munro , around in the 70's .

One trick described was kids in the trailer & getting it on two wheel , or was it ONE ,
I think in his case the kids fell out . Our brother of course , had to emulate this .
After first indu8cing oneself to get in the trailer " I wont do anything " Famous words
indicateing a devous scheme , to oneselfs detrimant , is currently under planning .

WHOWEVER , back to the MOVIE .

Youngh Munro used KNOBBLY TYRES , as the case had the highest rateing . Knobs sawn off & Tyre rasped & spun ! . Most Deffinately wasnt stupid enough to utilise boot polish on cracked tyres .
BLATENTLY MISSLEADING
The Amyl Nitrate pill . There were actually TWO ! . Any model diesel engine type knows this ( 1/2 D I I is A Nitrate ) the anti knock & combustion stabilising properties enhance performance .
" CH3(CH2)4ONO2. " Thus , DROPPING ONE IN THE TANK ! which apparently they missed , released a lotta OXYGEN & things , in the fuel . That perhaps the class regulations might not agree with .

AND the WRONG WING falls off the Albatross DIII's in his W W 1 aeroplane thingo at the Canberra War Museum . DUR , in modern parlance . Obviously Sir wotsit should engage sumbody
who shall remain nameless , at enoumous expense , with all ammenities provided . In the intrests of authenticy . :)

p.s. the more current book , you will note , in the flyleaf , is BASED on the Story of Burt Munro . The Authentacy again being not entirely there . :(
