Ash is in hospital

I wish it was but no with the cam, head work and everything else, it has a bit of compression, to much for a hand job lol, bit of dirt talk now lol.
As I have always said I just wish this has never happened, but it has so I just want to get back to a near normal life as I can, but it's fu cking hard.

Ashley

Ash - you should get one of those telekinetic helmet thingies - the ones with the electrodes on your brain!
Then you could give your Commando a head-job! 🤣 🤔

It's not so much a inspiration to me more I just want to get back to my normal life but I know in myself it will never be the same, but I need to get back as close as I can, but I tell you it's not easy and I do have my moments but at least I am not crying like a baby wanting to get home now.
Did I mention the Joe Hunt maggie, thought I better throw that one in lol.

Ash, I bought a barely rolling '69 Triumph and the guy threw in an empty Hunt magneto case that was undamaged (no story on how it became empty). I sent the case to Hunt, and they sent it back looking (and working) like NEW. I built the engine up bone stock apart from .060 over pistons & rebore, new valves, guides & springs, all new bearings, bushings & seals, rod journals turned .010 under. Monoblock carbs sent to Lund's for re-bore with oversize slides and jetted up a touch, with velocity stacks. Sureflex clutch with Barnett springs. Just nice. It would loft the front wheel with a fair bit of wrist.

Anyway, the best thing about it was, AS LONG AS YOU TICKLED THE CARBS, it would start on the first kick EVERY TIME. I used to bet $100 to everyone who was having a look at it, that it would start first kick, and it ALWAYS DID.

...until the one time it DIDN'T! (I forgot to tickle the carbs)

Anyway, it was a good friend who was really in a hard place, and he was pretty emotional when I handed him the $100 bill. Not long after that he got a good job and was back on his feet. We always get a good laugh out of that day...

Well another day at home been 6 days now and 4 days on my own, had a few friends drop by to see how I am going and the daughter and boof head took me down to my local hardware store, need to get a hand held shower for the bath room as my OT man was suppose to be getting it sorted but still no idea when as I can't stand up under a normal shower head as I got to sit on the bath seat to shower, so I took things in my own hands just got to fit it today simple job but harder with a missing leg but I got to do it and get it done, I am so use to doing things on my own so will see how I go.
Just about to cook up a big feed for brekkie been up since 7am and now 9:38, I been on the computer way too long chatting with friends that time has slipped away, well what else am I to do, have all day to do the shower head will take a whole 15 minutes of my time including opening the shed get a spanner and some thread tape, I paid good money for the hand held shower fittings as it can be used as a normal shower or hand held but I needed it, waiting for others to do their job and the OT man seems to be more talk than action, just got my wheelchair yesterday that I should have had over a week ago, they are only renting one for the time being paid for by the other party and its a fu ck second hand one and not in the best condition that I will be putting a complain on.

My OT man has a private phone number when he calls so I can't contact him but my wife is going to bale him up today when she sees him, they kept saying he does his job good but so far he has fu cked me around, but I have to go through him to get things done, he has told me he has to get quotes for anything but its ways too slow when I need the things done now, I knew he be a sticking point when I first met him and so far he has lied to my face 4 times now, "didn't say that" when he did, one of my pet hates is people who lie to me and even worst when it's to my face and when I tell him so he lies again.

There is only 3 people I completely trust, me, myself and I lol, but then I trust my mates I have known most of my life and the wife as well my fateful dog Millie, she don't lie lol.

Well not much else is happening with me so quiet being home alone but I do like my own time, might even have a beer later.

Ash
