Another "S" back on the road

Nortons called that color Candy Apple Red, didn't they ?
Not sure I've ever seen it as 'Fireflake Red'....

Candy apple red is the colour seen on Mk11 850's (among others) .It is actually a plain silver base, with a translucent red sprayed over, just the right number of coats to get the colour right, apparently. That " S" is indeed fireflake, also came in blue and purple. Big chunks of metal in there, the real "metalflake". Fireflake blue seemed to be one of the most popular colours on the original 750 S, IIRC.
 
Put a larger screw in there and drive it home with a good dollop of locktite. DAMHIKT
