The speedometer looks odd to me. Did they come with a sticker of some sort on the face?

Perhaps it's my age, but when I see someone knowingly ride a bike on a public highway at highway speeds with a severely compromised braking system, then that person just has ****t written all over them, IMHO.
That he's willing to risk his own neck I couldn't care less, but to me it shows total contempt for other road users, and all for what? Self promotion?
God forbid an accident occurring, anyone else would be an innocent party regardless of 'blame', and what fine publicity for our 'old' bikes and the people who ride them.
Sorry, in this video I see nothing but selfish ***t.

I'm sure someone better qualified will jump in, but I believe they had a peel off sticker on the tank for gear pedal positions, and the one on the speedo for running in speeds..
I think :)

Good technique, and more views, following up on the unboxing with a ride. I thought it was pretty interesting.

Mandatory yearly safety inspections for motorcycles (no emissions check, that's for 4-wheelers only) here in Texas as well. No stickers issued to put on the bike, you just can't renew your annual registration without proof of a safety inspection within 90 days and proof of insurance on file in the state's computer system (reported by the inspection stations and insurance companies).

What happens here like it sounds like in the states if you happen to have a unfortunate accident and have NO proof of any road worthy compliance.... that will give the insurance company a way out of NOT paying out regardless if you are in the right or wrong...

I gotta' believe those boys are dialed in well enough to have production insurance which blankets almost anything and everything that can go South.
Some, including me, scorched em' a bit early on but if you consider the whole presentation they sound pretty upbeat about Norton Commandos.

Look at it this way
The bloke seems to really like it even with no front brake
So if they do get the brake to work he won't be looking to upgrade it!
If he ditches the black caps and fits some pea shooters I reckon he'd keep the bike
