Amal Premiere Carb

Ah, saved by the cell phone. 30 years ago my plug fell out of a single carb A10 on interstate 5. I walked the shoulder and found a flip flop sandal, cut a plug from the sole and carried on down the road. Back then and still today, I think part of the hobby of ridding these old bikes is getting yourself home with a swiss army knife and a pair of pliers. Not always possible of course but I never go to the cell phone as my first resort if one of my old brits coasts to the side of the road. Glad to hear so many people stopped to help.
