Ouch is right. I bought mine from CBS in 2019 for a lot less--that was before Covid. CBS Installed the #19 jets at no additional cost.
As advised here at that time, I checked mine for swarf and found it in the drillways.

Am I pleased? Yes! The bike runs very well and is strong. It starts easily and idles well at traffic signal stops.

Amal has raised the dealer price five times since 9/2018 and the 2023 raise was 20%. Also, for much of 20-23 dealers had to wait many months to get any. Now they are pretty easy to get, but much more expensive.

I sell the recently received ones sets for twins for $520/delivered in the US to Access Norton members. I do not sell the generic sets like most others do - I sell the sets meant for your bike.

I have a few sets I got at earlier prices, and they are sold for less to Access Norton members.

From me, they always include #19 pilot jets, this includes Premier sets I have for Norton as well as Triumph twins and Triumph Triples. By default, Amal installs #17 for all but Norton 850 sets.

They are all Aluminum now and are all inspected, adjusted and tested by Amal - they weren't when you bought them. Since Amal started inspecting, adjusting and testing, I have found an issue with any I've installed to inspected.

I purchased my Premiers in 2019, and inflation since then has certainly taken its toll everywhere. Those were the early days of my renewed acquaintance with Nortons and the Norton community.
