Air Filter Caught Fire

My Son Ian was here today ( pro- mechanic) he say acetylene is what he uses in same method as the propane torch , I always thought wd40 was the go to technique ...dah

Some of these alternate methods could be used to blow the bike up rather than just pissing around burning the filter.
If a thing is worth doing, it's worth doing right!

Hard to remember 40 years ago, but it was (I think) a green foam rubber element that you sprayed oil on. I guess the oil was flammable. In both cases it was just a backfire through the intake that was enough to start a fire. I don't recall who made it.
