961 specialist/ mechanic Alberta Canada needed!

Get a Bosch cam position sensor , a TPS , 2 fuel injectors , and get these installed. Try this and report back.
Did all of that. No difference.

Checked wiring from cam position sensor to ECM all the wires check out.

Bike starts. Gets to temp and then stalls out

When it happens have you determined what is missing spark or fuel ? Could you have a heat sensitive ignition coil or maybe a crankshaft timing pickup coil ?

It then doesn’t seem to want to restart. The issues also seem to miserly flare up with it gets up to temp
You can ohm out the crankshaft pickup coil. Around 500 ohms . If it is drastically different value , consider replacing it. These are available from a few different sources .

You can also ohm check the ignition coil. The prices for these parts are reasonable.

The tip over sensor can be jumped out also. You need to provide a low to the ecu input , there is a thread in this .

Update: After changing, the temp, cam, and crank sensor even though those were the codes. Nothing has changed. that being said we've discovered that the pick coil is putting out 500 ohms not he recommended 100-200. Does anyone have a part number for this?

this seems to be the problem. Do you know where can I fond a replacement?
Hi Cory , What part are you looking for ? A coil pack or a primary cover gasket . Thiel Motorsports in Germany has a good supply of spares. My suggestion is to buy a few parts when you order because it will make the shipping cost feel less painful. I have purchased from Thiel multiple times.

You can find this ignition coil on Amazon. It is for a Mercedes Benz. Find the part number in resources on this site and do an Amazon search for this Bosch part.

Just to clarify, the issue is with the pick up coil/ trigger coil in the stator

This it the original, but you should be able to find similar in the U.S. as it’s listed for many Japanese bikes. Just make sure it’s 500 ohms.
