I feel sorry for it - poor thing it needs a good home and a bit of tlc - but not by me

I just call them death traps but for those that like them it seems to just peek their interest in them. The two main features of the death options are a front end that has so little travel that a R.R. crossing can flat spot the rim sending you ass over tea kettle . My second favorite is a rear fender with four or less fasteners holding it in place. Now when this comes loose in combo with the geometry of this fine front end you are going in for the low side of your life.

Humm-
Easy fix, just needs frame, swingarm, engine mounts, tank, seat.. fenders......front end.............oh, geez.
Rescue the engine/trans and stick a Jap lump in the frame.

I can't believe people would bid on a seized rolling basket o'crap.
I think a friend of mine has those forks in his basement, we just laugh at them and talk about building a bike up of all the junk we pull off nortons - at this rate, it looks like making ugly broken bikes makes economic sense!

I see it's located in New Milton, Hampshire. No doubt it's Sammy Miller just having a good clearout

Sam will have a "good clearout" if you suggest that to him.

Do you think those are Trials forks ? Would a 21" front rim with a Trials Universal on pull it all back into shape ?

Extract from ebay description:

'PLEASE STUDY THE PICTURES .

THE MOTOR IS LOCKED UP SO WILL NEED REBUILD/ REPAIR.'

Do you think the lack of the top end oil feeds might have had something to do with this problem :?:
Perhaps someone should have told the old owner this usefull piece of information
A head steady would also improve the handling slightly I would have thought

Possibly? But I don't really think so.

I expect that the top end has been removed (or at least somebody has attempted to remove it?) and the repair job never actually got done?

As there doesn't appear to be any nuts on the barrel base studs either.

I think the worlds gone mad £1,827.77 for that pile of junk
There some right muppets about.

Oh my, According to this I have hit the lotto. Just assemble my parts into the nastiest POS I can dream of and sell, sell, sell....
