I have come up with a simple idea for easy swingarm lubrication.
Drill and tap a small hole (say M4) in the RHS end cap, opposite the existing nipple/zerk. then position the nipple at the bottom.
With the bike on the side stand pump oil into the nipple until it reaches the tapped hole. then put a screw in with a sealing washer.
Not having to pump against a dead space should ensure the lubricant enters freely

No need, just remove the bolt from the center and of the cradle/spindle and you accomplish the same thing.

I unscrew the lubrication nipple and with an oil can force in oil until it is full and I feel hydraulic lock. Then I stop, replace the nipple and let it leak out for a few months!

Then it's permanently lubed and has no oil nipple so what gives?
No it's a bit of a hybrid. The cradle is a Norvil electric start cradle with the cotters, but the swingarm is Mk2.
Filling with a vent will probably be possible with a normal oil can, less chance of blowing the seals out with a grease gun at high pressure.
A couple of minutes work to convert the cover and if it doesn't work nothing is lost
