pazon vs boyer (2012)

Hi all,newbie to forum but not to brit bikes over 40 years of ownership
Have just bought a 750 roadster with pazon fitted but it has a viscous kick back and not the easiest starter, would seem its over advanced the way it kicks back.
where can i find fitting instructions online so i can check the setup, and whats the timing? i want to use a strobe to time it, and which side cylinder is the one to use for setting up. thanks

Assuming it's the Pazon Sure-Fire ignition.

31 degrees fully advanced.

and which side cylinder is the one to use for setting up.

It doesn't matter as it's a wasted spark ignition.

My Pazon Altair kicks back OFTEN.
Did I shoot myself in the foot choosing that over Sure-Fire?
