I was going to post a link to that after I got done with the morning constitutional...
Richard at Wasco wants me to send him the cradle and swing arm, along with the frame. That’s interesting. Considering that the engine and cradle are holding the swinging arm and wheel in place and are therefore crucial to alignment I’d have more confidence in the guy who said he wants the engine in. Presumably he’ll actually check that wheel alignment is all good.
With a bare frame, all that can be checked is the bare frame is correct to spec, any issues with isolastics, cradle, swing arm, etc can’t be checked.
He must have a set of crankcases then or a jig to take the place of the casesRichard at Wasco wants me to send him the cradle and swing arm, along with the frame.
He says he does a lot of Norton frames, rides them, owns them.He must have a set of crankcases then or a jig to take the place of the cases
I read this. None of the people involved are alive any more. I tried to contact them.

Good to hear - in the UK the price is pretty reasonable too. Out of curiosity, was it enamelled or powder coated? No issues with my new three years ago frame from AN.

No, never got a shipping estimate. The exchange on the British Pound is 1.22:1. Which is lower than it has been in a long time if ever. Did they give you any idea of what it might cost to ship it?
I recently purchased a crankshaft for a Perkins diesel out of England and to my amazement they shipped it to Alaska via UPS for about a hundred USD. I can't get stuff from Seattle via UPS for a hundred bucks. So I don't know how the international rates work but it was cheap. Five days from UK to Alaska.
Did you buy the frame local in Australia or purchase and freight to Australia. My reason for asking is I need to buy a frame for a mkIII so any info would help.ThanksNo issues with my new three years ago frame from AN.
