The original z plates to my bike were removed to get them de-chromed quite a while back (still haven't got around to it :( ) but on the bike for quite a while are some spare plates and along the top of the left hand plate, in very fancy letter stamping are the initials G.C.H.
It always sets my mind wondering about where they came from, who was/is G.C.H. or perhaps a dealership, I don't know but I'm always curious, I think I had them second hand from either Norvil or R.G.M in the early 90's, does this mean anything to anyone, I'm only being nosey :)
It might have been the prototype Datatag system!!
cheers Paul.

Hi Cash, I'd be surprised if it wasn't, I was going to sand them out a couple of years back, but I like the unknown aspect, 2 people now have asked me about it when I've been parked up, it adds to the provenance but without a story behind it!

Are they stamped in a way that looks professional? Or do they look like some past owner just did it to mark his territory?

It looks pretty much like a previous owner, done pretty neatly with nice letter stamps.
I'm struggling to resize photo to post a pic.

There is nothing for it, now you'll just have to change your name.

Welcome Graeme (Charley Henson) ? !!
