I think the fact that you are riding a Norton pretty much solidifies that you are an enthusiast.
Put it on your canoe rack.;)

I'm with Craig, it looks a bit busy, maybe because it's not symmetrical. It looks like a quality emblem though.

If I were super picky, I'd say that Norton logo predates the Commando (luckily I'm not).
 
And the extra weight will make the indicator bracket at back of number plate snap off, indicator might end up in back wheel. 750 ones used to break off without any extra weight on.

Joe, if you don’t have club affiliation...go for it. You can see the club sticker on the rear fender in my avatar to the left.
 
What did you use to polish up that lens? I've not had a whole lotta luck and can't stand a nasty taillight lens
