When you die, it does not really matter because you probably only ever heasr about other people dying.
In this life, our achievements are only limited by our mindsets.
What is important is how we are remembered, because when we are gone, we still exist in other peoples' memories.

I find as I get older, the regrets I have are about the guys I did not visit, when I had the opportunity. While I was working, racing motorcycles was my way of having fun, and the time I had to play with them was minimal. I really loved what I did in my jobs, but it does not mean much now.
Amen.

Regrets do you no good.
I am reading a book at the moment (The Untethered Soul - the journey beyond yourself by Michael A Singer) that is, in part, how to silence that badgering scolding voice in your head.
It is kind of associated with yoga that I took up a couple of years ago.
Well... it's good for me.
Cheers

Got news 4 days before Christmas , oncologists say few months or years left , will know more by June , once they can study test results , etc. ….. no regrets here , have had more fun than a barrel of monkeys in this life , no sympathy, thanks … carry on 😉

You are a strong man.
We live in an age of medical miracles.
May God bless you.

👍 … shortly after hearing incurable word , figured I better get Jo some future company , since we both have always liked dogs , we got 8 wk Irish Doddle , ( no Bull Terriers available close by) Desmo now 5 months , so far lots of love & foolishness & more dog shit than one dog should produce , he size of small pony , folks ask what dog is that my answer varies , from Jethro Bodine in dog suit to Clint’s sidekick orangutang in “any which way” films , she will have great company ….😎

Turn it over to God, and don't take it back. The worst emotion you can allow yourself is fear. Fear says you doubt God's ability to heal you. That's taking it back.

Think of all those who you have begrudged in your life time, now living or dead, and FORGIVE them. Forgiveness works miracles.

God bless, Amen.

Sorry to hear of your bad news Craig - puts a lot of things in perspective.
I’ve had a lot of loved ones with various cancers - mother , father sister , in laws , friends . Some fatal , some cured .
If I may offer some encouragement - over 35 years ago my brother in law was diagnosed with liver cancer and given six months to
live . He went to a teaching hospital where they told him of a new treatment - infusion of chemotherapy. Long story short he lived for thirteen more years and died of a cardiac event while in surgery for an unrelated illness. I don’t want to seem glib but I often tell people of this because there is always reason for hope .
You and yours will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Rick

No body giving giving up here Rick , just repeating what was said , our health care system in one of poorest/backward provinces leaves doubt in most folks that lucky enough to have a Doc. my Doc. fresh out of school , I had to ask for PSA test when I noticed issue with drainage 😉

I can tell you that I had recommended shipper that I have used several times with no issues , buyer made contact with him , but sadly didn’t get cash to me before Henry showed up for pickup , Henry wouldn’t touch the Norton , apologized and left …. once $$ arrived an unknown to me shipper arrived ,I rode perfectly running Combat into the van , bike and van ended up sitting in Montreal storage for few wks before arriving at buyer in Ont. , not long after I get a no start message , I suggest checking vital ignition connects , buyer finds a corroded connector , cleans and gets fire , last I have heard from him …. Funny thing is a local buyer who had moved here from I.O.M. showed up , she asked me to start bike and thought she would buy it for her husbands B’day , I asked what he rode now , turned out he had never been on M/C , she knew he dreamed of a commando forever , I declined her full asking price offer … wks later got a note thanking me 😉
That all I got , buyer say he successful real estate bidness man in Ont. he mentioned a couple wealthy sailors that spend time on our south shore , names rang no bells for me …. I included all my Norton tools, spares, manuals, etc. …. I can admit I do miss that particular motorcycle the most , was a labour of love over many yrs to get to where I wanted ….
