Really??, not thinking anything about it... everybody has a story, usually bad...
Then he says 'Yeh, you ever hear of Dave Aldana?'

Matt, I did not watch the whole movie, however not much of that stuff ever happened in Australia. One of the things Dave Aldana mentioned was the money. In Australia, I do not beloeve anybody ever got rich from racing. I like watching motorcycle speedway, it is far more spectaculae than any other sport. However, in Australia the media mogul;s co-partner other sports to sell newspapers to help them have political influence. One such mogul might be about to have his wings clipped. However it will be too late for motorcycle sport.
THe thing which makes me laugh about the video you posted. is it looks so dangerous when it is actully exiremely safe.
I was involved with the car guys in writing a public document tit;e 'guide to managing risk in motoir sport' in conjunction with Standards Austealia. I have worked in places which were actully dangerous. My friend who was CEO at Winton Raceway waa surprised when I said 'motocycle road racing is safe'. If you think it is dangerous, you have never been in real danger,

Two of my mates actually made enough money out of racing solo speesway bikes to buy a new JAWA. There was ine promotor who actually paid start money, it yoy started from behind the gate in the handicap races,
