What’s the best none Norton Norton ?

Does it come with a set of 'look what I just bought ain't I just the dog's biscuits?' postcards containing dyno readouts to post to all your friends and hand out to fellow bikers?

As we’ve ‘opened up’ this thread just a little!

Every now and again I spot a special that really floats my boat! This would be at the top of boat floating list!! I’d swap all of my bikes (and the wife:oops:) for this beauty! But not Walter, my Kelpie!

I’d say that this bike has the perfect proportions/styling for a cafe racer IMO. Beautiful!

I totally agree with your recommendation Voodooo the MV is a beauty! Test ride is on the list!!
The 3 cylinder MV 800 engines are just awesome! The sound and the response combined is so addictive! I had an RC F3 which was not good on the road for my carcass. I think the Brutale would be a fabulous road bike. Very difficult to keep out of trouble though I suspect…

There’s always one awkward b*stard isn’t there…?

Personally I don’t like that Vin.

It has neither the classic beauty of the original Black Shadow, nor the rakish cafe racer perfection of a classically styled Egli Vincent.

But, of course, I am biased !

Weight can be deceptive. I tipped an HD Road King over and it took me and the missus to get it up again. Last Winter I tipped over a Guzzi 1400 California and was amazed at how easy it was to get back upright, all down to distribution and leverage I guess..... if only the dealerships would allow you to try the tipover test in the showrooms :)
When the Victory Vision first came out, they did just that, at the International Motorcycle Show in New York. A carpeted area, it was laying on it's side, people taking turns righting it.

It’s brand new. Magnesium cases. 1330cc. Flat slide carbs. Etc, etc.

Built by Godet Motorcycles in France. The ones who also build new Eglis. Top drawer workmanship.
That’s one of the most beautiful bikes I’ve seen!!!

Magnesium cases, really, or engine covers?
Where are the photos gents?
Now, don't hold out on us.

Magnesium cases and covers, huge weight saving, case pattern altered internally to increase the strength (I know this cos my Egli has the same).
