Valve Spring Compressor

I recently acquired a ’74 Roadster that I intend to fully restore. I don’t have any experience with Nortons, and I was wondering if any of the c-clamp style valve spring compressors that are made for motorcycles will work on the 850. A typical example of these compressors can be seen on eBay:
