I have one like that it as about cheapest on EBay. It does flex a little but does the job an fits a range of heads. I have bigger stronger ones for car engines but i only use all of them together maybe ten times in thirty years so don't really see point of spending big money on one that next time you use it on something different may not fit anyway.
So with that in mind like i say its cheap an nasty but does the job.
I have stripped & rebuit two race heads & when I went to use it again this time I found it was bent. Cheap enough might try & weld in an angle support bracket once I have straightened it again & checked it will clear the head. Then again I might just bin it.
I still use the forked C clamp one that I bought in 1964. The secret is to apply pressure then a rap with a hammer to break the collets free. If you wind it in until it breaks free then I think most will bend.
