It's hard to tell from the very brief film clip, but it looks like that bike had diagnostic stuff attached to the other side.
 
From the website, this seems to be pre testing prior to TT. The blurb seems to indicate feedback from testing.

Are you referring to the blurb below? If so I think that’s regurgitated stuff from old referring to their past racing. If not, what did you read and can you share?

I thought that, but don't think its the old blurb. The biggest showroom in the world is the TT, they will need to run it there, if only to get laps under its rubber. For what they'll be asking for these bikes, they need to convince buyers, so where better.
It also ties in nicely with the Parent groups attitude to racing.
Hopefully I'm right, as it gives an indication that the factory are starting to get it together.
 
I totally agree that the TT is a great place to showcase the bikes, but the bike in the screenshot is not a racer, it looks like a pre production road bike. It even has a number plate by the looks of it.

Edit: perhaps they are going to take some for the parade laps, or static displays ?
 
Yep, would be awesome to see Norton back at the TT - not happening this year I guess or we’d know about it. Don’t think McPint will be taking the ride again though - given what he’s said/written since his Norton outing.

This is great news though, 8 x V4’s being tested is clearly a sign of progress and intent. Both V4’s were at the Bike Shed the other day and more importantly, so was the 961, front and centre. Reasons to be cheerful Part 3!
