V4's being tested at Mallory Park

From a mate who was at the bike shed:

“Just spent 30 mins talking to their sales director…the legal constraint that stopped them trading ends in mid June….they’ll make the decision when to start prod by end of June, people can register interest now but he has no idea of lead time and priority is to deliver bikes to people who paid before the bankruptcy”

So… what ‘legal constraint’ was being referred to ??

'they’ll make the decision when to start prod'

!!?? Seems a daft comment, why else would they be in business? Or am I missing something?

Have they got cold feet?

I read ‘when’ not ’if’. A when could relate to having all ducks in a row from a production/logistics perspective and sufficient interest to begin production. We’re speculating again of course.

A legal constraint stopping them trading until June! Slightly ironic if accurate - we have been waiting impatiently for activity, whilst they may have been waiting patiently to be able to trade!

Some seem slow on the uptake, ITV sport TT coverage last night mentions the Norton twin failed to meet regulations for this year's supertwin class.

I heard that as well, and did some investigation. It seems Peter Hickman owns a super light and has made some changes to it which he believes would make it competitive, however apparently the homologation rules say that at least 30 bikes must have been produced in order to qualify for the class.

Shame though.
