Looks like South Bay FINALLY received the first batch of a half dozen US Nortons

Seems like only yesterday they started taking deposits...

6 norton delivered to south bay norton all SE models. 3 w USD forks at no extra charge the rest std w wire wheels std forks. Gp cycles got 2 and so did the northern calif dealer. Next shipment is supposed to b 20 bikes, but we all know how accurate that is... won’t b holding my breath.

This seems to contradict your other post about the USD forks, SF & CR models get USD in the rest of the country, while Sport do not! I don't know about the next shipment except it will be in multiples of 10 !

all were SE, said so on the dash plaque. SE were available with wire or bst CF wheels. got it from the horse’s mouth, Matt Capri tuesday.

according to Matt the next shipment will b in a batch of 20 to cut the cost of shipping. don’t believe me, call him up and ask.

um, That would be a mutiple of 10, 2 to be exact! Norton told me there was going to be a California shipment of 20 for Dec or Jan and as you say we all know how that went!!!

I drove down to the LA area yesterday and picked up my SE. Rode it around today, nice to get it finally. I got the exhaust pipes from South Bay Norton and can highly recommend them. They look much better than stock and also sound much better, without being too loud. Matt started a stock bike and then one with their pipes and the difference was noticeable.
After waiting four years for this bike, I am a happy camper.

Congratulations, West Coasters. It was worth the wait. I'm having a blast. Those pipes aren't loud, but Lawdy, they IS meaty.
