The header pipes were poorly welded at the flange and really rusty on the inside. About what I expected for $300 and change. The header angle appears to be way off too...
Mine were finished nice, I would call them and complain. One thing I liked about them compared to others were the sides of the peashooters were smooth, others I have seen are rippled. Here is a pic of mine.
Nothing, but bending the tubes was tricky they are stiff. Wish someone would make this as an option to buy. You could take the tubes out and solder new tubes but i just bent them very slowly.
The pipe on my Seeley is a two into one that works very well with a fiddle of the cam timing to compensate for the greater extraction. It is made out of bends which you can buy from any tube bender with a mandrel bender. As long as the tail pipe crossectional area is the same as the total of the two header pipes you shouldn't run into trouble. You will note that there has to be clearance allowed below the motor so you can open the sump plug. Also the pipes are rusty. Better to get the whole thing made by someone who supplies the aircraft industry with exhausts, and use inconel which is a nickel alloy, much lighter and doesn't rust.
