OK .. so why you lads are debating the pros and cons of alcohol , how about feeding this thread with some more of this great music ..Hee Haw :)

I agree with most of the suggestions that offer relief from the root cause which, most likely, is TCS . The suggestions addressing mechanical damping may extend the the time before the tingles set in, but won't make them disappear. Worse, you could still traveling away from the mother ship. Even worse if you have to ride back through a city or town. The tangles will become down right painful, and at some point you will progressively lose you ability to operate the controls until you can't.

I had TCS in my right hand. I could ride for about 20 minutes before the tingles started, 10 minutes beyond that the pain was amazing and I could not operate as safely as I knew I should; Danger Will Robinson!

I started looking for medical intervention. I quickly found out that a general surgeon was not the way to go, that I needed a plastic and hand surgeon. I got the surgery, I went to a Boston area plastic and hand surgeon; went in for 9 AM was on y way home at noon. Full function in 2 weeks, no restrictions after 3 weeks. The left wrist must have gotten right wrist envy; 2 months later I got it done.

Greg Marsh's suggestion about cervical damage is something that should be ruled out especially if you have had any injuries to your spine. A good plastic and hand surgeon will investigate all the possibilities before he/she starts cutting,if they don't find another doctor

Best.
